Overview

What's My Pay ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use whatsmypay.app and how it is used.

Information We Collect

What's My Pay does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or financial information that you enter into the calculator. All salary and tax calculations are performed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript — no data is sent to any server we operate.

Cookies and Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These cookies are set by Google, not by What's My Pay.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

We also use browser localStorage to save calculator scenarios you choose to save. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Third-Party Links and Affiliate Links

What's My Pay contains links to external websites including IRS.gov, Tax Foundation, and product recommendations. Some recommendation links are affiliate links — if you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous traffic patterns such as page views and general location. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. It does not identify you personally, and we do not combine it with any data you enter into the calculator. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Children's Privacy

What's My Pay is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. For any requests, contact us at hello@whatsmypay.app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of What's My Pay after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
